Even if you already have hospital cover, things are changing and you may need to think about additional services you haven't considered before.
Download our Maternity fact sheet or Assisted reproductive fact sheet for some useful tips and information or visit our pregnancy information page on our website.
Are you covered for maternity and assisted reproductive services? It's important to plan ahead if you're not already covered for these services as there's a 12-month wait before you can claim.
We recommend choosing from one of these covers:
Silver + Family Hospital with Mid-Range Extras
Silver + Family Hospital with Family Extras
Gold Hospital with Comprehensive Extras
Combining your hospital cover with our selected extras will give you access to some important services designed to keep you and your family well. And, if you're on a single or couples policy, remember to upgrade to a single parent or family policy to make sure baby's included on your cover. You can do this after baby arrives, simply add them to your cover within 3 months from date of birth and they won't have waiting periods for anything you've already served.
Call our friendly team if you’d like us to talk you through your options.
If you have a hospital visit coming up, ask your doctor for an estimate of possible costs (called informed financial consent) and ask if they’ll charge you under our access gap scheme which will help save on out-of-pocket costs.
And the younger you are when you join, you might be eligible an age-based discount on selected covers – wow!
