Massage is one of the oldest forms of healing, and has been used throughout history by many cultures. Rubbing an aching shoulder or stroking a furrowed brow are both forms of massage and we do it instinctively. Our team of highly qualified therapists has a range of skills and experience. We care about helping people and are passionate about getting bodies moving and working better.
Types of massage used:
- Remedial massage: Uses a combination of soft tissue techniques including deep tissue sports massage, using trigger points and stretching techniques to loosen tight or thick tissue, take tone out of tight muscles and improve lymphatic circulation and post exercise soreness.
- Sports massage: Uses techniques such as lymphatic massage for recovery, prevention and treatment of injuries, preparation for competition and postural correction. Whether you're a professional sports star, a weekend champion or just starting out with a new exercise regime, we're able to help you make the most of your body.
- Musculoskeletal therapy: Focuses on joint mobilisation, stretching, rehabilitation and assessment. Our Therapists can diagnose conditions and develop prescribed exercise and strengthening plans for their treatment.
