TUH has been part of the education community family since 1972 and we stand right beside you through this current crisis. Teachers are doing an incredible job right now and we have a few ways to help look after your most important asset – your health.
Firstly, remember to keep up with your regular health maintenance. It may be a little challenging right now but it’s so important to keep you on top of your game. Most allied health services such as dental, optical, physiotherapy, podiatry and audiology are operating as normal. The government has eased restrictions on dental treatment - and now massage – so you can see to those issues you may have put aside in the last few weeks.
Not sure if your regular provider is open? If you are near Brisbane, our Fortitude Valley Health Hub continues to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic. Services available to members and the general public include dental, optical, podiatry, audiology and physiotherapy. Call 1300 709 076 to book an appointment.

Secondly, did you know a number of clinical and allied health services are available by telehealth delivery? TUH provides coverage for various services that are key to your ongoing health and wellbeing, including dental, physiotherapy, psychology, exercise physiology, dietetics, podiatry, occupational therapy and more (policy, MBS and industry conditions apply). Staying active is important too. While your gym is shut, we can help you keep up with your physical fitness.
