Does TUH cover telehealth services?

Some extras services can be delivered effectively by phone or video instead of face-to-face. Telehealth delivery helps you manage your health and wellbeing in whatever way works best for you. 

What can you claim?

Physiotherapy

Individual (one on one) consultations only.

Exercise physiology

Individual (one on one) consultations only.

Psychology

Individual or group consultations. 

Dietetics

Individual (one on one) consultations provided via audio or audio/visual services.

Occupational therapy

Individual or group consultations.

Speech therapy

Individual or group consultations. 

Antenatal and postnatal midwife services

Individual (one-on-one) consultations.

Lactation consultations

Individual (one-on-one) consultations.

How to claim

Please check your provider has included telehealth in the description of the service before submitting your claim.

You can submit your claim directly to TUH via the Mobile app or Member Portal. HICAPS on-the-spot claiming is not available as no card can be presented in person. More information about claiming.

The following services are not claimable as telehealth services after 31 December 2020.
