I'm a provider, can I treat family members?

It's important to note that TUH has a restriction on providers who are members treating their family members.

Section III (C) of our fund rules prohibits us from paying a benefit for treatments conducted by a provider on the provider’s family members.

This includes, but is not restricted to, treatment conducted by yourself on your partner, parent, sibling, child or any other person insured under your policy.

Providers include, but are not limited to; acupuncturists, chiropractors, dentists, exercise physiologists, optometrists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychologists, massage therapists etc.
